~ Chapter Five ~

Chapter 5

After discovering whose blood that was on the floor yesterday, I’ve decided to escape. I’ll find a way out one way or another. You see my fellow readers, that large blood patch that was once on the wooden floor of the  house was Noura's. They killed Noura because of what she did. I shuddered just thinking about it. They haven’t told me anything else but “We killed Noura because she disobeyed us. 5ali Eli saweenah l Noura 7ala8 b2ethnek momken enty tel7a8enha ”

‘YALLA Turki lazm ne6la3.’ I heard Faisal saying to Turki, through these very thin walls.
‘6eb w elbnt?’ I heard Turki reply.
‘Just keep the door locked. There’s no way she can escape.’
I heard the door open again and Faisal chucked a dirty apple at me. ‘There’s some food for you.’ He said.
‘Thanks.’ I said quietly.
‘Hmph.’ was all he said before he shut the large metal door and bolted it, then I heard key’s been put through the locks and all sorts. The door was made of metal, but the walls were wooden, easy to break down.
Then I heard the sound of the front door shutting and a van being turned on and then driving away, when the sound was gone because it was too distant, I got up and searched the room for things to help me break out.

This room was empty though, it only had a few chairs and two mattresses. The bathroom wouldn’t help either; the window in the bathroom was boarded up and there’s no way I would be able to rip the sink out and smash it against the wall.
I sat on the chair and sighed. I put my head in my hands and thought for what felt like ages. It finally snapped. The chair. I picked up the wooden chair that I was sitting on and smashed it against the wall; it did little damage so I tried again and again until there was a small hole. I repeatedly punched the hole bigger, big enough that I could put my head through.
I looked in the living room and saw the front door. I smirked to myself before I started to kick the wall that already had a hole in it.

It was ages until I could finally get out of the room I was locked up in. I quickly ran to find a window to crawl through.
I went round the house and reached a window. I smiled to myself as I punched it and it smashed. I climbed through it and as suspected; I got a few cuts from the broken glass. I breathed in the fresh air that I’ve missed out on for what felt like forever. I went round to the front of the house and noticed something… We’re in the countryside. I looked all around the front of the house and noticed that there were corn fields all around the front of the house. Mazare3  mazare3 mazare3 this is gonna be so easy to hide in , I said in my head.

I quickly ran through the corn field and looked back at the house. This field went on for a while; maybe I should go and get some food? Just as I was about to turn back, I heard a van in range. I quickly jumped down onto the solid ground as I heard the van come closer and closer, until it stopped.

I slowly got up and peaked and saw Turki and Faisal get out of a dark red van. They were carrying some weird looking objects and then they went to the front door. I didn’t want to leave just yet; I wanted to hear their reaction.
They both went in talking and then it suddenly became silent. I smirked, knowing that I angered them. Then I heard yelling. ‘YOU IDIOT FAISAL!! YOU ABSOLUTE IDIOT!! THANKS TO YOU SHE’S ESCAPE!!’ Obviously Turki's  voice.
‘THIS ISN’T MY FAULT!!’ I heard Faisal yell back.
‘YOU WERE THE ONE THAT TOLD ME THAT WE SHOULD KEEP HER HERE!!’
‘GO FIND HER!!’ Was all Faisal yelled back.
I saw Turki come back through the front door and look around and ran a hand through his hair.

I quickly ducked down and started crawling through the corn field, being careful not to make a lot of noise. I found a bush nearby so I crawled to that before I hid behind it and looked up to see Turki walking aimlessly round my area. My heart started thumping faster, what should I do? Should I stay here or run? He can out-run me easily, I’m pretty sure of it. Then again, why not give it a shot? But what if I get caught sitting here? What if – screw it, I’m going for it.
I quickly leapt up from the bush and started running towards an opened mazra3a. I heard Turki shout something along the lines of ‘HEY!’ That only made me want to run faster. I was so close to the mazra3a. Nearly there. AND I WAS IN!!! I hid behind trees and crept along the dirty and muddy floor.
I heard Turki not long away, breathing heavily, obviously out of breath. He kicked a few twigs and then started walking round the forest silently, trying to catch me out.
I smirked, he’s an idiot. I stayed still, breathing slowly and not trying to make any noise. When I was sure that Turki was out of my range, I got up and started walking quietly to try and reach the end of the mazra3a and I saw a dusty old road. I smiled to myself, I was about to step further when a hand went over my mouth and I screamed into the hand.
‘Well, well, well look what we have here.’ I heard Turki’s evil voice whisper in my ear. ‘You thought you could out-run me? Well you thought wrong.’ I can imagine him smirking right now.
He pointed a sharp object into my back and it made me shiver, it was a gun. Preferably the same gun that killed Noura. He led me back through the mazra3a and on our way towards the house. I had a brainwave, I slowly reached my hand towards the gun and grabbed it, twisting Turki’s hand as well that he had to let go.
I now held the gun and pointed it towards him. ‘Well, well, well look who’s got the upper hand now.’ I smirked.
He let out a harsh laugh. ‘You don’t even know how to work that thing!’
‘Maybe I don’t, but I know that all you have to do is pull the trigger and bang… you’re dead.’ I said slower than usual, enjoying this moment.
‘You’re an idiot.’ He spat.
‘Listen here.’ I shouted. ‘I have done NOTHING to make you guys kidnap me.’
‘You saw Faisal. You suspected him.’
‘Yeah well,’ I shrugged. ‘OTHER THAN THAT NOTHING!!’
‘Didn’t you learn from what happened with Noura?’
‘Does it look like I care?’ My face might have showed it, but boy, I was petrified.
‘No-one’s ever messed with us.’ He looked un-interested. ‘Why you?’
‘I wanna get outta here.’ I simply said.
‘And you think that walking through a mazra3a  was a smart idea?’
‘I don’t care. Because after I pull this trigger. Turki Al Fulany, the mass bomber will be dead.’ I said pointing it towards his head.
‘WOAH-WAIT!’ He put his hands up in surrender.
‘Maybe I should go for the arm first, make you suffer.’ I smirked.
‘WAIT-’ but before he could talk anymore, I shot his arm, he dropped to the ground, screaming out in agony and I quickly ran around him, dropping the gun.

He grabbed my foot with his other arm and it brought me down with him. I screamed as I fell on top of him and he crawled to the gun. ‘YOU’RE GONNA DIE!’ He yelled.
‘Not if you die first.’ I said in a sing-song voice and reached for the gun.
He punched my face with his non-shot arm which caught me off guard and I held my face. ‘AYY!!’
I got the gun but someone stepped on my hand, causing me to yelp out in pain. I looked up and saw Faisal. ‘Well, well, well look who’s been caught again.’ He smirked.
Busted.
